About

Since moving to Oslo, Norway in June 2015, I have found the Scandinavian light and darkness sets the rhythm to my life. Living this far north, we live anticipating the light or darkness that comes and goes. Nordic light and darkness provides unfolding opportunities and challenges each day. This is my attempt to make sense of how it shapes, molds, and empowers us.

I am a writer, mother of two boys, wife, Lutheran pastor, foodie, hiker, and most of all, lover of people, their stories, and this beautiful world we live in.

  1. “The Scandinavian light and darkness sets the rhythm” I could not have said it better myself. You write about living in Norway in a way that I have not tapped into yet myself. I am so glad that you started to write. I am so inspired by your storytelling. Love and joy to you my dear friend ❤
